How To Add A Welcome Message On Ur Own Server

Procedure

1.Go to the .../pariah/system/pariah.ini file
2.When in, got to "edit", "search" and type : "messageoftheday"
3.Press ok (lol)
4.When you have spotted the line, write what u want after the "="

Your message has to be a single line (in the notepad) long[/u]

Yes, there are. Go in the folder options of your files explorer and unset the "hide well known extenstions" (or something like that in englsih) option

when running a dedicated server, u can also change it in the screen of the server. Dont know exectly where but even i found it so it wont be hard to do.

When I started my server and was adding my Message of the Day, I just found it easier to just scroll down the list and just find it myself. It's about 1/3 of the way down.

When you find it you can type in whatever you want. As long as you want. I have three messages of the day for whatever version of Pariah I am running at the time. CTF, TDM, DM.

I'm also running Custom Maps as well. Downloaded every map I can find.
