I went into a forum for one of the server owners for BF 2142 and I'll never play on that server again.

When I went into the forum to tell them what was going on in their server, which I would think you want people to do, they complained and attacked me. It was the most rediculous thread I have ever seen. One guy asked why I was bitching. Another said what was I crying about. I couldn't believe what I was reading. How sad some people are.

I'll go back later in the week and see what they had to say after my last comment last night.

Had some good games this weekend as well. Besides being booted for dumb reasons, I did pretty well. I have gotten some scores of over 500 for doing certain things during the game. Getting Badges or Medals and such will get you some good scores. Being Commander is good cause you get a lot of extra points for doing nothing. lol Trying to get to that next level of Sergeant Major Silver.

You are so right dude! There are a lot of games out there and that are coming out soon. Might go back to Delta Force Xtreme. Had fun playing that. Pariah and Warpath are dead issues for me. Maybe I'll start playing F.E.A.R. It's still sitting on my shelf brand new since October of 2005. lol. Waiting on Crysis, C&C3, Far Cry 2 and a couple of others.

The epic Titan mode introduced in Battlefield 2142™ is available on two maps, and for the first time in an urban setting. All maps also feature Conquest mode with the Conquest Assault Lines set-up, in which the attacking army now has to conquer all control points before taking the enemy’s main base.

Fast–paced, infantry-focused gameplay boosts the intensity of the all-out war experience.

Three new maps set in Europe, where snow-covered post-apocalyptic cities and a ridge in the Alps become the new battlegrounds.

Well, since it's $10, it's still ok, but i'm wondering : if i was a BF2142 players, what game would i play ?bf2142 or that booster pack ? It's splits the community onto two different version of games and then two different distinct games, no ? I don't know if most of the players follow and buy what EA realases. But if so, u'd have to buy it too, if you wanna play with the others

Well the same happened with BF2 when Special Forces was released, no one really played it, but I think they bought it for the new weapons, I know i did, but didn't spend much time on the servers cos there weren't really enough people around, pitty, cos there were some good maps.

Wasn't there someting about new weapons in this BF 2142 booster pack as well? Depending on how usefull they are I might buy it ... I don't really know at the moment.

There and new vehicles, New weapons and new awards.

I know I'll buy it. I'm that type of sucker. lol

you'll tell us if that floating new car is nice to drive. If it's like the floating (hovering) tank, not sure it'll be easy to drive

It looked like, from the video, to drive like a regular car. Not sure if it's true yet but will keep you posted in 3 months when it comes out. lol

And still no bike ...
All the bikes have disappeared from the surface of the Earth in 2142, too sad

Why? Do you want to ride around with your girl? lol

Did you know that you can ride a bike in operation flashpoint ? And i'm sure it's possible in Armed Assault

You can also ride a bike in Delta Force Xtreme. You can also have a passenger. Nice cover going in!
