A solution for WP

what if you installed a software firewall such as zone alarms and when you went to host a server it would ask you to allow it out. I think it displays the ports too? but im not sure...
I just found this online for the demo:
f you are running a firewall or a router, you may experience difficulties attempting to play the Warpath™ Demo on a LAN or the Internet. You must configure your firewall/router to allow the Warpath™ demo to access ports 7897 through 7898 for game sessions and port 29808 for the master matchmaking server. Ensure that TCP and UDP are enabled for all of these ports. If you do not know how to do this, contact your system administrator or firewall/router vendor for further information. its possible they used the same ports.

. So, infarkt make sur that you have open/forwarded those ports (both tcp/udp to be sure, but i think that the first two are udp and the master server one is tcp). I guess u'll have to forward them, otehrwise you wouldn't have any problems (unless you have a firewall that blocks ur game)

And if you already know how to connect to ur router (if you know the ip), try
login = admin and pass = admin

worst case scenario, you can reset the router, but if you know the model we can guess the default password.

Oh I know how that feels!! I did the same thing but went into the Linksys website and got the info I needed to get back into the action.

What kind of Router do you have (linksys I hope) and what's the model Number?

This is the way to forward the ports of a game called Earth 2160 with your router. Just forget about the name (replace earth by pariah and its port by the pariah ports). Just follow as shown on the page.

Look at the previous page, in a floaty's post to see the ports used. Set them both UDP and TCP to be sure.
