[Pariah Movie] - The Last Stand

[THE INTRODUCTION]

Synopsis : There are two groups evolving separately. However, they don't live far from each other. Both are located near the mountains. They are separated by a mountains chain. They live in the forests down the hills : on one side, you have the Coalition (blue guys), and on the other side the Rebels (red guys). They have been in conflict for years, but the situation was stable. No open war so far. We don't know exactly what's going on over there, but things have gone worse lately and both sides are in negociations to try to avoid any blaze in the region. Despite the talks, the Coalition (even if they try to reassure the population) suspects the Rebels to try to gain some time to be the first to attack, taking advantage of the surprise effect.

This is the introduction to the movie we made with friends : The Last Stand. It sets up the background and the story. You see the action from the Coalition side. We've made 3 episodes so far.

The Last Stand : Introduction

[EPISODE I : THE RECON]

[Synopsis] : In order to prevent any attack from the rebels before the end of the talks, the Coalition has sent squads all around the city at key places to report any suspicious presence. These squads are essentially recon units. They couldn't send more soldiers, because most of the troups are set up near the borders, just in case ... At 1:42 pm, the last squad sent (ALPHA) reached the area they were heading for : the mountains. Once in position, all the squads have to scan their zone and send one of them to report to the HQ (located in the city) via the nearby radio post. Then, they will have to camp in the place for 3 days (till the end of the talks, in case they fails). And finally, go back to the city. If, during theses 3 days, there is an enemy activity, their primary objective is to send an alert message to the city. Even if attacked, fighting back is considered as a secondary objective. No backup will be sent ...

[EPISODE II : MEET THE REBELS]

[synopsis]: The Coalition was right, but they don't know it yet ... The night has come and the rebels have meticulously prepared their attack. They have been spying the Coalition for a moment, and they learnt about the squads sent at different key places to warn the city of any enemy presence. Their plan is simple, if they can neutralize all the squads stealthily and prevent them from sending an alert to the city, they get the advantage. They managed to surrender each squad and they have waited for the night to swoop down on them. However, the members of the squads are well trained guys, and the fight is lasting. Time is ticking ... the day will rise soon ...

C'est d'ailleurs probablement un des points importants qui m'a fait aimer le jeu : des beaux décors love
